The most famous Tephi is Tamar Teia Tephi, who was the daughter of Zedekiah, the last Israelite king to rule in Jerusalem. Tephi was the sole surviving heir to the Throne after Jerusalem was sacked by Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar in c. 588 - 586 BC. She escaped along with the Prophet Jeremiah and his scribe Baruch; first to Tahpanhes (Tanis), Egypt then later to Gibraltar, and finally, without Baruch all the way to Ireland, where she married the high king Eochaidh on 21 June 583 BC. Tephi and Jeremiah brought the Israelite treasures with them, including: The Ark of The Covenant, the Coronation "Stone of Destiny," the Harp of David, and others.
