These immigrants came from various areas of Prussia and an dialect of sorts appeared. My Great Grandmother was a Lutzow and this is the way her my Great Aunt always pronounced it. She lived in the Barossa her entire life. I believe it is pronounced differently in other areas. Of course, this may have just been a peculiarity in our own family.
