How to pronounce Cathline?

CAthlIne is pronounced with two syllables, cath and line just as it is written, but believed to be descended from Pennsylvania Deutse who came to Canada in 1783 said to have been named "Kochlin" Pronounced "Koch-lin" or perhaps: "Koch-line" or however these Germanic or French emigrants may have pronounced it and English census takers translated what they said.

These two left with Loyalists, from
Pennsylvania in 1783, came to New Brunswick, Canada, first land grant was on Long Island in the Kennebecasis River. Some descendents settled
on Kingston Peninsula, some in other southern New Brunswick areas. Two daughters came with them, Mary Ann who married David Dunham, and Ann who did not marry.
