How to pronounce Caesar?

"Cae-" is pronounced "Kay-" as would rhyme with "day" or "hay."
"-sar" is pronounced "-zar" as would rhyme with "car" or "bar."
This is how it is pronounced according to Latin diction, though it is pronounced differently in the modern-day English diction.

My Latin teacher taught me that C's are pronounced as a K and ae as I. The S is soft so the sar would be pronounced as sar (close to sir). This coincides with the German name for the same position -- Kaiser probably taken from the Latin name.
